Game 2 and 3 in Clarington did not go much better than the opening game. The Storm outplayed their opponents and in both cases came up short. Game 2 was against Blenhein and the Storm lost 3-1 dispite outshooting their opponents 20-11. In the final game against Clarington the Storm lost 4-1. In the first game the lone Storm goal was scored by Caitlin and in the final game it was scored by Madeleine L.
It was a far cry from a year ago when the team went undefeated in the tournament over 5 games. This year it was a learning experience for the young Storm team. Certainly there was a lot of positive things displayed during the game. The fast-skating Storm team dominated games at times but were unable to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities. This will change over the course of the season.
