Winning Streak Extended to 5 Games

The Storm squeaked by Etobicoke 3-2 today to extend their winning streak to 5 games. Rebecca R. scored with less than 5 minutes remaining to preserve the win. Other goals were scored by Madeleine, on the powerplay, and Sheri. The Storm moved the puck very well throughout the game but failed to capitalize on some good scoring chances. The game also saw the return of Heather from a rib injury. Out of the lineup were S. K. with an knee injury and Nicki with a concussion, She chipped in with 2 assists and showed little rust from her month long lay off. The win means that 3rd place Orillia is now 3 points behind the Storm. As well, the Storm is now tied with Durham for 2nd place overall in Tier 4 which means home ice advantage in the first 2 rounds of the playoff.
