Toronto's Goalie of the Future

In case you were wondering how close the Leafs' goalie of the future, Justin Pogge, was to being called up, there is Star article about him. Well lets just say he is a work in progress. His first professional season has had its ups and downs. But he's not even close to being called up to the NHL just yet. Although many goalies are ready for the NHL, Pogge isn't one of them.

On the Marlies he has appeared in 22 games and has a 7-14 record with one shutout. His goals against average is 3.23 and his save percentage is .894. These numbers are very close to those of Raycroft.

So I guess we will have to patiently wait for the next goalie saviour.
