I know there are those who don't believe in the power of the lucky penny, but some of us. The penny was passed on to Rebecca R. who scored the only goal to preserve the second win of the weekend for the Storm. Alisha had her third of the season and had to make a great save on a breakaway with less than a minute left in the game. Special mention to the Sharks' goalie and a former Storm player, Adrienne D. She played a strong game and kept her team in the game.
North York is now tied for second place with Orillia in the Central Division and tied for fourth place with Georgina in the combined standings. The Storm has the 3rd best goals for percentage in the Tier and the 6th best goals against. Big test coming up this week against Mississauga.
