Playoff Race

UPDATED w/ Saturday's games.

Here's a look at the record each team needs to attain that projected point mark and (essentially) guarantee a playoff berth. Note that although Carolina and the Islanders are not mathematically out of the playoffs, they can only get a maximum of 92 points which is unlikely to be enough to secure a playoff spot. Even though Montreal is ahead of the Leafs in the standings, the Canadiens cannot lose another game in regulation time and finish with 93 points while the Leafs with a game in hand only need to win 3 out of their remaining 4 games.
