Bourne/Lemieux will win Battle of the Blades

Shae-Lynn Bourne is one of the most gifted and athletic Canadian skaters ever. I had no doubt from the start of Battle of the Blades that she and her partner Claude Lemieux would win the competition despite the unexplained popularity of Tie Domi. It is not the figure skating skill of the hockey player that prevails in this competition but the skill of the girls. Each week, the least skilled (of a very talented group of skaters) is knocked out. Shae-Lynn is a 10-time Canadian champion and 6-time world medalist including a world gold. She could make an orangutan on skates look graceful next to her.
