The Storm tonight defeated host team Gloucester 3-0 to finish in first place on a tie breaker (calculations worked out by Coach Willie but yet to be verified by PricewaterhouseCoopers). It was a decisive victory in which the Storm dominated from start to finish. The team played with excellent intensity and displayed great checking, playmaking and shooting. Scorers were Madeleine, Jasmine and the lovely Ms. Rebecca R. and another shutout for Nicki. Sure looks like our stay in Ottawa is to be extended.
