different day, better effort, same score

Our first game of the season was against Durham last night only 5 days after they knocked us out of the playoffs at the Aeros Tournament. We got a much better effort - evidenced by that fact that we outshot Durham in all three period and took only 3 penalties all game (only in 1 the 3rd period). Sadly the result was the same, a 2 - 0 loss. Still there was a lot of good things observed in the game. Our speedier wingers got by the Durham defense for several breakaways. Our conditioning is getting better. We continue to get great goaltending. We finished the game strongly. So lets give credit to the Durham goalie. She is good but she can be beat.
