Andrew Raycrost was named the NHL 1st Star of the Week today. This is a weekly recognition announced each Monday. The only other Leaf to be named 1st star this season was Mat Sundin. Raycroft was given the top honour after helping the Leafs to three straight road wins while posting a 1.33 goals-against average and .960 save percentage.
Finally Raycroft is living up to expectations. Now lets see if he can keep it up.
