The Playdowns began tonight with a game against the Leaside Wildcats. It took the Storm about 7 minutes to wear down Leaside. After that they just kept coming in waves at the Leaside net as they rolled to a 7-0 win. The Wildcats have been on the bad side of a few lopsided games this season but only once have they lost this badly. That was a 8-0 loss to Whitby.
The Storm scoring was led by Mari and Jessica R who both had 2 goals and 2 assists. Genevieve had 3 assists and single goals went to Maryssa, Jackie and Kailee. This was the 4th straight goal in which Jackie has scored a goal. Bianca was not terribly busy to record her 4th shotout of the season.
