Got a call from Coach Ron this afternoon to inform me that he would not be coaching this coming season I know that this must have been a difficult decision for Ron to make because he enjoyed doing this so much but other commitments in his life take priority. For the past 6 seasons, Bruce, Ron and I have spent a lot of time together. Although we have quite different background, we shared some things that brought us together - a love for the game, a similar coaching philosophy and a great sense of humour. As we have told the players many times over the years - a hockey game last for only 60 minutes, but good friends and memories last a life time.
We are fortunate to have Ron our goalie coach for the past 2 season who will be joining us behind the bench this year.
